templates_c/carl_contest ERROR

Hi,
I recently set up the blog on
http://zoharj.com/blogs
If you go there you can see my error. I have no idea what the problem is. I changed permissions to 777 and still nothing. Luckily the admin area is working. If anyone has suggestion they would be much appreciated

Hi!
Which permissions did you change to 777? Only those of the files inside the directory, or both of all files and the templates_c directory itself?
Because the error actually means that either the files don'T exist or they cannot be read...

well there are no files in the directory. so i just changed the directory. i thought there should be files so i re-downloaded the package and looked in it but in the orginal package there are no files.
so...
Where do i get the files?

Hi!
It's alright that there are no files in that directory. Please check that the directory is really 777!
Also check if you entered the right serendipity path in your configuration!
Are you using a windows or unix/linux server?
