Hi all,

i've saw that there is already a Post regarding that issue, but there is no awner in it wich solves the Problem.

My problem is, that i have activated the Amazon Partner Plugin and i get the following error message

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/lib/php/s9y-additional_plugins/serendipity_plugin_amazon/serendipity_plugin_amazon.php on line 100
getting

Notice: in /usr/local/lib/php/s9y-supersized/bundled-libs/PEAR.php on line 848

you can also see it on my sit
http://junky.supersized.org/

Because i am using the Plugin not on my own server but on the server from http://supersized.org/ i cannot check or edit the code ?

The next big problem is, that i cannot deactivate this Plugin because i only get the same errormessage instead of a configmenu.

Please help Very Happy
best regards

Hi!

Please do not crosspost bug reports on both the forum and the SF.Net tracker.

Also please do not post bug reports in the general bug forum, but in the specific supersized.org support forum.

The problem you are facing is specific to supersized. The server does not support the amazon plugin, thus is should be removed by the supersized admin.

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi Garvin--

I'm having the same problem (I think, it sounds very similar) with the Amazon plug in. I can't do anything from the plugin config menu to fix it, and I see this message when I look at the source code:

<b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/content/r/v/a/rvanderlinden/html/serendipity/plugins/serendipity_plugin_amazon/serendipity_plugin_amazon.php</b> on line <b>100</b><br />
<div style='display: none'>getting <br />Success<br />
<b>Notice</b>: Success in <b>/home/content/r/v/a/rvanderlinden/html/serendipity/bundled-libs/PEAR.php</b> on line <b>848</b><br />

Success

I am not on supersized (I don't think....). Any ideas? I'm totally not technical, so please, be patient :D

Hi!

Those "Notice: success" messages come from PHPs socket/network connections. usually those messages indicate that there is trouble connecting to a foreign domain from your webserver. Is it possible that your server is running firewalled and outgoing connections are forbidden?

Garvin

Hi Garvin,

Thanks. It could be. My site is hosted by GoDaddy, so it probably is firewalled. So, it sounds like you're telling me that there is not a simple fix I can do from serendipity, it has to be done server-side? Basically, I just want the Amazon plugin to go away so my blog can get back to normal.

Thanks!
Colleen

Hi!

Basically you should be able to log into the serendipty backend, go to plugin configuration and remove that amazon plugin?!

Best regards,
Garvin
