Admin User (me!) vanished? Locked out ...

I can't log into a blog anymore. My PW is rejcted or User unknown. But hey, it's me, the admin!
Other users can not see my name in the useradmin-interface ... are they supposed to see admin user when everything is OK?
Is there a way to reinstall myself as an admin user? How can I grant myself 255 privs again?

Hi!
To me this sounds as if your serendipity_authors DB table is corrupted or no longer existing or no longer containing your author. Please check that.
You can reinstall yourself as an admin user by inserting the author via phpMyAdmin/SQL into your serendipity_authors table.

What do you mean? Using phpMyAdmin on a remote server shouldn't be a problem...
