hello all,
i have uploaded the serendipity folder to my root folder, and tryed to run the installer. it gives me these two error messages... and then does not install.

i am using dreamweaver MX on MAC OS 10.3.5

errors:

Warning: main(/home/httpd/vhosts/weakstickmixtapes.com/httpdocs/serendipity/serendipity_admin_installer.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/weakstickmixtapes.com/httpdocs/serendipity/serendipity_admin.php on line 57

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/httpd/vhosts/weakstickmixtapes.com/httpdocs/serendipity/serendipity_admin_installer.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/httpd/vhosts/weakstickmixtapes.com/httpdocs/serendipity/serendipity_admin.php on line 57

i also think everything is chmode to 777

It seems you are missing the file 'serendipity_admin_installer.inc.php - see if you extracted ALL files from our release archive file?

you are 100% correct. i had thought all the files uploaded successfully, but when i went back and looked, for some reason dreamweaver shortened / corrupted the files. so i uploaded with a PC using dreamweaver and have had no problems. thanks again!
