Hello,

my hosting provider did yesterday something on server structure. After some offtime, my site runs again but I have some permission problems on tmp folder. I informed him an I hope this will be fixed tomorrow.

I have activated Exittracking so no link in all my entrys works.

Admin panel do not work. Is there a way how I can change the exittracking temporary? In database perhaps?

Tell your provider to please fix permissions on the /tmp folder of your server.

Yes, I did it allready.
I just wanted to know how I can set Exittracking without admin panel off since my provider fixes permissions problem.

Hi!

It's not about exit tracking, your whole PHP session support is broken.

Your provider must fix it, unless he fixes it, you will not be able to properly use your blog.

Yes i know that. But I think when I set exittracking off my links in entrys will work again, aren´t they? That was my first thought. Reading an writing comments were possible but no outgoing link worked.

Unfortunately My blog is completely off again - very annoying!

Okay, great to hear that.

Sadly, Serendipity is completely innocent on this issue. If your provider did not properly configure PHP, Serendipity couldn't fix this anyway.

It's like wanting your Ferrari to drive, while it's still hanging on your mechanics workbench.
