Blog entries from an autoresponder

I'm the new boy here, having been introduced to Serendipity just a couple of days ago by a friend.
What a great program! A huge thanks to all the developers!
My question is about posting blog entries by autoresponder. Is that what is called moblogging?
I've been looking at the POPFetcher plugin and it appears to be what I need, but from what I can understand it only allows you to blog into one category.
Is there any way to adapt the plugin so that the user can nominate teh category someplace within the email text perhaps with a unique string identifier?
Or, alternatively, is it possible to run multiple copies of POPFetcher, each one set up for a different category?
Thanks.
Martin.
