Today I just got a bunch of emails informing me that someone has left a reply to a comment I made on someone else's serendipity blog some months ago. Upon looking at it, I find that those are in-fact spam messages that have been caught by spamblock, and therefore not rendered on the page.
Is it possible that spamblock is allowing comment subscription mailings to be sent for spam comments before authorization, or does this have to be a case where his blog was set to notify rather then moderate?
I'm just worried that people who have unwittingly clicked subscribe on my blog will be inundated with the tons and tons of spam's spamblock is constantly catching on my blog.

Re: spamblock subscription replies
Hi!
Notifications are only sent when a comment is successfully added. Maybe the owner of that blog already deleted the spam comment so that you didn't see it.
Of course sending notification mails upon moderated comments to everyone would be pretty bad!
Best regards,
Garvin
