Spartacus Themes breaks Styles/Plugins etc.

Hey there!

I couldnt find (maybe just didnt find the right query) a topic for this so if this already has been discussed I am sorry, just point me there..

Problem as follows:

1. Everything worked (clean install 0.9.1)
2. installed Spartacus
3. when now changing to *any* Template except the one used before installing Spartacus, the changed-to template is.. well kinda messed up. Backgroundimage of the original (pre-spartacus-install) template is used, the style is *completely* messed up (textalign, font, positioning of sidebars and content looks as if put in a mixer).
Same happens when I install some kind of Sidebar-Plugin.
4. Changing back to the pre-spartacus-install-template woks fine, everything is displayed as it should (except the above mentioned sidebar plugins).
5. Only way to getting this back to normal is uninstalling Spartacus - then the remaining tamplates work again but.. well, I don´t have Spartacus

Well I feel as if I am giving myself the answers to my questions, but.. I am pretty new to all of this so I dont know where to look to even begin to fix this...
I think in some way there is a mixup between the basic- and the spartacus-cssfiles?!?

go into your public_html/templates_c directory and delete all files except for the .empty file.

What is happening is your blog is trying to speed itself up by using a cached version of itself. This allows for people visiting to experience a bit more speed when connecting.

The problem is that when you switch templates, you'll be pulling up odd, half put together styles because of the cache. Simple solution: When you change themes, delete templates_c contents and make sure your browser is removing all temporary internet files when you exit...

Also, if you run behind a proxy, you might be experiencing problems with the proxy caching an entry of the page...if you purge the proxy for your blog site, you will be good to go.
