Hello All!
I'm new to Serendipity. I've noticed that I can't add URLs to my posts. Is there a setting that I can enable to allow html code inside of my posts.
thanks.

Hi!
You can just enter HTML into your posts, just like you add any other text to your HTML!
You might want to go to your personal preferences and enable WYSIWYG editor, if typing HTML is too hard for you?
Also you should see a simple toolbar above your entry box where you can click on the "link" button?
Regards,
Garvin

Doubled checked I do have WYSIWYG enabled. Actually, I forgot to mention that the code is entered but it doesn't appear correctly on the post. The raw html code appears instead of the link. I want to add my numly to my posts. I can do the same thing on my LJ acct.

Please tell us the URL to your blog so we can see how it looks.
Also please tell me which serendipity version you are using, and which event plugins you have installed.
Please also make a screenshot of your admin interface to show how the link you entered is displayed there.
You cannot enter "<a href...>" HTML code when you have the WYSIWG editor enabled. There you need to use the button to enter links!

Garvin

I think the problem is just the WYSIWYG editor; what garvinhacking said in the last line.
No WYSIWYG edior: type raw HTML
WYSIWYG editor: use its buttons

Thanks guys for all of your responses. I had to put the editor in text mode for the HTML to work.
