Statistics Plugin

I was wondering, how the statistics plugins determines the number of comments, articles, visitors and so on.
One reason is, that I discovered it took a pretty long time, until the number of comments got updated, second, the number of visitors stay at 0 all the time ... but I would assume if at least one person is on the page viewing it, the number of visitors should be 1 ...

Hi!
The plugin determins numbers of comments and articles by querying the database.
Visitors can only be counted if visitor tracking is enabled in the plugins configuration!

Hi!
You most go to your s9y admin panel, go to the plugin manager, locale the statistics event plugin, configure it, and there it should show up.
Maybe it'S also contained in the statistics sidebar plugin configuration, I'm not totally sure.

I got the following items in the event plugin settings:
Anzahl Einträge
Wieviele Einträge sollen pro Wert dargestellt werden? (Standard: 20)
Extended Visitors Statistics
Add Extended Visitors Statistics feature? (default: no)
Ban browsers from beeing counted
Insert browsers that should be excluded from counting, separated by "|"
Extended Visitor Statistics only has the Options, No, top of page, bottom of page (but I don't want anything on the top/bottom of the page, thus I assumed this is not the option)
In the sidebar's plugin, I got the items:
Show date of last entry
Ja Nein
Formatting text
Use %s as placeholder for the number/text
Show number of entries
Ja Nein
Formatting text
Use %s as placeholder for the number/text
Show number of comments
Ja Nein
Formatting text
Use %s as placeholder for the number/text
Show visitors this month
Ja Nein
Formatting text
Use %s as placeholder for the number/text
Show number of current visitors (aggregate past 15 minutes)
Ja Nein
Formatting text
Use %s as placeholder for the number/text
Cache timeout
How long may the statistics be shown before they get refreshed? Setting this to a high number of minutes will improve performance, but might not reflect the actual data if set too high.
All the booleans (including show visitors this month and show current visitors) are set to Yes(True) ...
*shrugs*
What am I missing here?

Hi!
You must set "Add Extended Visitors Statistics" to a value different than NO, and you must enable the option "Extended Visitors Statistics".
Best regards,
