weird problem when saving entry

This morning when I try to save my entries in either draft or publish mode I get booted out to the frontpage and nothing gets saved. I haven't changed anything, or installed any plugins. Also when I try to edit a draft post in phpmyadmin I get a message telling me that "tbl_replace.php" was not found on the server.
Any thoughts?

Ok, this just gets wierder and wierder, the following sentence seems to have been the problem, and when its removed the entry save correctly. What does that mean???
In case you ever need to Google for stylesheet help, what you are looking at here is a selector (p), which has a couple of declarations contained within curly brackets. Each declaration has a property name, a colon, a value, and is closed by a semi-colon.

Hi!
To me this sounds a bit like as if your server is probing for specific characters? Is mod_security in effect on your webserver installation?

Is there more stuff after the sentence? I'm shooting in the dark, thinking you might have overrun the max length of an entry.
