categories and headlines

1.0-beta2
When selecting a category it's name together with the blog-title is shown in the headlines. After using the calender the category disappears in the headlines although the category's selection is still active. I think it's more consistent to show category and date instead of blog-tile and date.

Hi MArio!

Yes, that's a very good suggestion! I fixed that in the 1.0 branch and 1.1.

categories and headlines

Hi Garvin,

With your quick and positive answer you encourage me to expand my issue:
When selecting more than one category by ticking the headline only displays the name of the first one. Perhaps it's possible to at least indicate by "..." or something like that that entries of several categories are listed.
In any case I'd prefer the ticks to remain as initially set.

When now using the calender again in 1.0-beta2 the list of entries is obviously reduced to the first initially selected category. That's not what you'd expect. Btw, in 0.9x using the calender led to a reset of the selection of categories to all categories.

Kind regards,
Mario

Hi!

Adding this is very complex. I agree it needs to be done, but I cannot do that right now. Passing multiple categories would require changes to both plugin and core code, since it requires parsing and interpreting whether the category selection is multiple or not, and then altering every involved SQL query.

Thanks for your suggestion! I'll try to find time for this in the future! Or if there are any volunteers, feel free to help. :-)

Best regards,
Garvin
