About page plugin?

I've got some users who are aksing if serendipity has the ability to have an "About" page (like those available on typepad. see: http://kingsnake.typepad.com/about.html). I've installed the User Profile plugin but isn't really what they want. They'd like a seperate page that can display a bio.

I've looked through the available plugins and didn't spot it so i thought I would ask. Is there such a thing for serendipity?

Thanks

The best option would probably be the staticpage plugin. Most people use it to craft an about page, as far as I can tell... (Certainly, I use it for that..)

Thanks. That looks like it might work. It seems as though it should be putting links in the sidebar to the static pages, but I'm not seeing them. What am I missing?

Thanks

Have you installed the "Static Page List" sidebar plugin? I believe that will automatically add the static pages to a sidebar as a list...

It may be easier, depending on your set up, to use the html_nugget plugin to create the list manually, though...

That would be what I was looking for but couldn't seem to see.

Thanks again.
