customisation

I hope this is the right forum - if not please move.

I am currently evaluating options of multi-blogging platforms and along with wordpress MU I am seriously casting my eye over serendipity. As a non-coder however I need to but in some customisation and am wondering how customisable serendipity is? Will general php skills be enough or are there some idosyncracies and/or assumed knowledge of the platform needed?

thanks in advance

Hi!

PHP knowledge helps very much in adapting existing code. All of our template code is done with Smarty (http://smarty.php.net/) which is even easier than PHP and more like HTML and simple operations. You should get along with that quite well, I guess! :)

Best regards,
Garvin

Cheers Garvin I appreciate the response and that helps me in deciding to slate some serious time for looking at an implementation.

Great product by the way, clean, intuitive and very user friendly.

Best wishes
