French translation

Post by Fabien »

I have created the French file (UTF8) for the plugin serendipity_event_entrycheck and I don't want to keep it for myself. What can I do?

Cheers, Fabien

Fabien, that is fantastic news. The next step is to simply email the files to Garvin who will check them for consistency, and then post them to the relevant directories. I won't disclose Garvin's email address here, but if you PM him he will reply fairly quickly.

BTW, are feeling up to translating a couple of other things, such as some of the Serendipity articles on my blog - I know I'm asking a lot, but there is a growing community of French users from France and Quebec appearing in my logs and I'm sure some of them would prefer to read about theming Serendipity in their own language - could you help?

Cheers

Hi Carl,

Thank you for your answer. My priority will be to translate some other plugins, but when done, I'll come back to you.

Cheers, Fabien

Fabien, I really appreciate your reply, and of course translating plugins is a very high priority. I look forward to speaking to you again once you've completed that project.

Cheers

Carl
