Strange Bug

Hello !
Since I've update to serendipity Beta 1.0 and now Beta2 1.0, I've a strange bugg. I've try to explain it far my english allow me :-)

Well, sometimes when I create an entry, serendipit freeze (I don't use trackback). the only way to work again is to stop and restart the apache deamon.

Sometimes when a user come to my main serendipity page, or go to a link inside an entry and come back to the blog, he only sees a blank page. If he cleans the cache from its browser, it sometimes work and sometimes not. Once again the only way to see the blog again is to restart the apache deamon.

I know, it's not an easy bugg to reproduce and I've in mind that it can be an apache or php version issue. But want to know if you've an idea

Thanks.

First off you should serously check your Apache configuration and then enable PHP file error logging.

Enable the /server-status report of Apache to see what your server is doing. Inspect the Apache error log files.

This definitely sounds to me like a server/php/network issue, not anything s9y causes.

Which event plugins do you have installed?

Regards,
Garvin
