There is an event plugin "Mail Entries" that can send emails. You could send it to a mailinglist that you setup on Yahoo or ecircle and then tell your users to subscribe there.

Apart from that: Don't use E_Mails. Use RSS-Feeds. That's what they're there for. There are also some RSS to E-Mail services out there. :)

Benefits are:

- You can choose specific categories to fetch instead receiving a general E-Mail
- It's push vs. pull - the user can get the information anytime he wants
- He can fetch RSS from every computer, even if he doesn't have his email handy
- You can easier embed HTML and other stuff
- RSS is not marked as spam :)

There are surely other benefits you can google up :)

Garvin

Uhm, what do you mean with that? You want to prevent that other website use your RSS feed?
