Hi
When trying to import a feed like...
http://www.presseportal.de/rss/pressemappe_51879.rss2
I get charakter encoding problems in the output.
Is that a problem of serendipity or presseportal?

As this feed validates with flying colors, the problem seems to be s9y
Which version of s9y are you using? I'm asking because in latest beta3 there were quite a few problems with rss import. You should try the lastest CVS version or wait for final release 0.7 which is due this week.

Hi
My version is the latest CVS!
Even with this one
http://www.presseportal.de/rss/pressemappe_51879.rss I get these strange results.

I think the problem is that the RSS-Feeds contain ISO-8859-1 encoding. I think to have read that RSS-Feeds are required to be in UTF-8 mode.
So it's either because the RSS-feeds are not within the Specifications, or that our bundled Onyx has a bug to be not able to cope with it...

Garvin.

Hi Garvin
I hope you keep an eye on this topic. Maybe not all rss feeds use utf8...
