I've found an interesting bug that I can't really figure out myself.

I have the "Category in sidebar" plugin installed, and accordingly the items in that category are hidden from the article overview. Now, what seems to happen is that the "Category in sidebar" plugin kills the "Recent Entries". As long as I have Recent Entries above Category in Sidebar everything is okay, but as soon as I put it below it shows up empty.

Uhm, which plugin exactly do you mean? Can you tell me the filename, because I don't know to which one you refer to

Did you look into the HTML output and look for PHP errors?

The filename is "serendipity_plugin_showentries".
Sadly my PHP-Fu is weak, so I haven't seen anything obviously wrong in the file.

Could you maybe make a screenshot of what is happening and show me the HTML code output of that page? Or is it online somewhere?

It seems to me that this could be a HTML nesting problem...

You don'T see any error messages on screen or in the HTML code?
