Stuck in the early going

Howdy...

I'm having trouble getting into the Serendipity program intructions and setup.

The installation documentation tells me that after I've installed the unzipped files on my server, which I've done, I should then just open Serendipity in my web browser and I'll be on my way in a matter of minutes.

Just what is it that I should open? I'm using dreamweaver, and have tried opening a variety of php pages, including index, and I'm getting nothing. I'm obviously missing a simple step here, but can't fathom what it is. Could someone please help me get past this step?

Hi ddigger,

just open up the s9y root directory (i.e. the directory you unzipped/uploaded your files to) in your webbrowser (e.g. http://www.yourhomepage.com/serendipity/).
