Preview option?

Hi s9y-users (and especially developers ;-) )!

Is it possible to add a preview function for layouts, so that no test-blog is needed for developing and testing new styles? Every time I try some new layouts on my blog my readers must think I am crazy...

Greetings,
Hokey

You could just install the templatechooser sidebar and event plugins, so you can test a theme via a dropdown on your frontpage.

If you only install the event plugin and not the sidebar plugin, only you can change the theme knowingly by just calling index.php?serendipity[template]=XXX...

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi Garvin,

maybe I'm blind but I can't find them!? (Although I once had installed the template dropdown plugin. )

And this event plugin is unknown to me. I never saw this before, how is it called?

What could be wrong? I really can't find the template dropdown plugin neither in the plugin menu nor in the cvs-repository.

Oh, I didn't see this posting.

The templatechooser plugins are available via default bundled serendipity, they're in the folders serendipity_event_templatechooser and serendipity_plugin_templatedropdown.
