Lo again my most serendipitous friends.
I'm finding myself at the moment wanting to implant a sort of "mini-blog" in the sidebar. Something not unakin to what my homie Shad has on his site (Quick Bits).

Now, I'm wondering what would be the best way of going about this. Setting up a post template for a dedicated category has crossed my mind, but I thought I'd hear with you guys if you have some better suggestions first.

However I do have some questions. Is it possible to make a category not show up in the main blog but only on the sidebar? Also I seem to have a problem filtering out the categories I don't want. Anyone else had this?
