Hi,
today i tried to trackback an entry from my collegues blog.
He is using 9y 0.9 and i'm using 1.0 beta 1
I linked to his entry like http://www.xxxxxx.de/index.php?/archives/48-xxxx.html

error:
Überprüfe http://www.xxxxxxxx.de/index.php?/archi ... xxxxx.html auf mögliche Trackbacks...
• Trackback failed: Die automatisch erkannte Trackback-URI gleicht nicht der angegebenen URI.

so i tried to trackback another 0.9 s9y blog: same error

but it works with other 1.0 beta s9y blogs. any ideas?

I need the actuall URLs to really be able to help yuo.

The error messages tells you that the URL you used is not the official permalink URL your friend is using.

As I supposed you are not using the "official" URL of those Blogs. They would be:

http://beschwerdeblog.de/index.php?/arc ... ecken.html
http://ullherr.de/index.php?/archives/214-Backup.html

You have these options:

1. Fix your links for the right URLs as mentioned above
2. Ask the owner of the blog to set the "Autodetect HTTP Host" configuration value to true, so that you can use the URL you are using.

I've the same problems, but I'm using s9y v.1.1-alpha1.

Example 1: My entry: http://www.malerwerkst.at/archives/579-Leserkauf.html
Trackback to: http://blog.koehntopp.de/archives/1163- ... pient.html (s9y v.1.0-alpha1)

Example 2: My entry: http://www.malerwerkst.at/archives/582- ... Kenny.html
Trackback to:
http://matthias.yellowled.de/archives/2 ... d-....html (s9y v.1.0-beta1)

Both times s9y told, that the trackback was successful - but it wasn't.

Any hints?

You did consider that the people could have enabled Trackback moderation, right?

Yes, I did - but I don't think so. Which s9y-version did you use? Should I try to do "a test-trackback" on one your entries?

I am using trackback moderation, and I think Kris also does that. Also I'm not running 1.0 on my system.

I'm away for the weekend, we can try some things after that. But try to contact kris/the others first about if they received your trackbacks.
