cannot search in multilingual entries

It has been reported here already a while ago, but I can't figure out from the answer how to get this thing to work:
The global search function in s9y seems to neglect entries made with the multilingual plugin completely.
Since such a plugin would not be too useful then I would like to know if anybody out here has maybe a solution to include multilingual entries in searches without the need to hack s9y. Or only a little, if unavoidable

That's right, the whole search mechanism would need a rewrite if that were possible.

Volunteers to develop this are heartly welcome! I myself don't use the multilingual plugin and currently have many other things to do, sadly.

Google of course will also index your foreign articles )
