problem with suphp

Since I activated suphp in the admin settings of web package I cannot access my page aniymore. Now it says INCLUDE_ERROR when I access the page. In the formum I found out that the reason for this is that the webserver cannot access the serendipity_config_local.inc file. The rights for that file are set to 700 and I cannot change it by ftp because the owner is wwwrun, which should be OK.

I need the suphp setting for other scripts. What can I do to make my site work again?

Hope someone can help me out!

Greetings,

Hannes

You'll need to recheck the settings - If it dies with INCLUDE_ERROR, it definitely means your webserver is not able to read that serendipity_config_local.inc.php file.

You might be able to change permissions via the "fixperm.php" script found in our FAQ on www.s9y.org. You might need to deactivate suphp first, though.

I have never worked with suphp, so I don't know if it causes problems here.

Garvin

I made what you proposed and it seems that it worked (war ja nicht anders zu erwarten).

Thank you Garvin
