Hi

I have just installed gallery2 and am having problems getting the sidebar plugin to work.
I get this error:

Code: Select all

Error Detail -

    * in modules/core/classes/helpers/GalleryPluginHelper_simple.class at line 105 (gallerystatus::error)
    * in modules/core/classes/helpers/GalleryPluginHelper_simple.class at line 99 (gallerypluginhelper_simple::loadplugin)
    * in modules/core/classes/GalleryCoreApi.class at line 187 (gallerypluginhelper_simple::loadplugin)
    * in modules/core/classes/GalleryView.class at line 129 (gallerycoreapi::loadplugin)
    * in main.php at line 262 (galleryview::loadview)
    * in main.php at line 87
    * in main.php at line 80
Im not sure if this is a s9y problem or a gallery problem, i cant decipher this error very well :( and it doesnt look like anyone else has had a problem like this on the forum.

any help would be much appreciated.
thanks

Can you tell us how you configured your gallery2 plugin? We could check some URLs then.

oh yeah, sorry, im half asleep this morning :roll:

Directory of Gallery installation : http://www.communecation.net/gallery2
this is where the scripts are kept, i installed gallery as per the instructions and keep the acctual images out of my public html folder.

Filename of the embedded script (Only used for Gallery 1.x versions!) : block-random.php

Number of Random Photos : 1

Which version of Gallery are you using? : 2.x

thanks for the help :)

Hm, I'm afraid but I think this is a Gallery2 related problem/bug.

Maybe you can ask on their forums and give them this URL:

Code: Select all

http://www.communecation.net/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=imageblock:External&g2_blocks=randomImage&g2_itemFrame=none
And ask them why this throws an error?

Best regards
