validation error - syndicate this blog

Hi all,
I've just run a sitescore on my site and the syndicate this blog plugin fails to validate on accessibility grounds. The problem is with the rss 2.0 comments, where a nobr is inserted.
Is it possible to change the html output and place a 'span class="nobr"' instead, as per css replacement for nobr
Anyone who operates a blog in the UK might thank you for this given it is a legal requirement to be accessible. I think other nations in Europe might be heading this way as well. And before anyone points out that some themes don't validate, I know, and its a real headache for me with my own themes at present.
