I am not sure if it's a bug, but whenever I place a link to Bruce Schneier's blog, running on Moveable Type 3.2, i receive an error message when s9y checks for trackback:

Trackback failed: You are pinging trackbacks too quickly. Please try again later.

This Message comes from Bruce Schneier's blog, it's not a message from Serendipity.

Maybe you can ask Bruce, what kind of spam prevention he has enabled there. Whatever it is, it is blocking Serendipity.
