strange character

I'm move all my serendipity weblog to a new server. The database migration has worked but now, I got strange character in each of my old and new entry.
I don't use the wysywyg editor but for exemple the French month 'décembre' is written 'd?cembre' ??
Any Idea ? my weblog adress is

Seems the character coding in the preferences was not the same..

Which serendipity version do you use, which language and which charset? And what's your URL?
And what is the URL of the RSS Feed you try to import? Depending on it, your Server/PHP might need the iconv/recode library installed to do character translation.
