Forum-Plugin doen't display on frontend

Post by DerWinzer »

Hi s9y friends. I belong to this communiy since now three days.

My s9y-blog is installed properly incl. the forum plugin. That I can see from the backend. How can I make it display on frontend?

I must confess I read a lot about staticpages- and html-nugget-plugin in these forums here, but since my English is not that good, I didn't grasp the full meaning of it. Is html-nugget something like a deliberatley to fill optional "empty box"?

Thank for an answer and all the same for being in the seredipity-community.

OK to show your forum you need the correct url of it. if you enter this into your browser, it will show the forum.

You´ll find the URL in the plugin configuration if you click on forum, you can give it a name, so the url is:
http://yourdomain.com/yours9yfolder/ind ... page]=name

So far so good.

To make it viewable for your readers you need to put the URL into a link somewhere. The easiest way is to use the HTML nugget. Thats a plugin that allows you to put some HTML (e.g. a link!) into one of your sidebars. To install it go to your plugin configuration, and install a new sidebar plugin, choose html-nugget (or HTML-Klotz in German). Then you can enter the link into it.
