Hello,

I downloaded the CVS snapshot dated on Sunday, 8/22/04, and on Saturday, 8/21/04. Both now bring up an error I suspected, but don't know what to do about. Here is the error:

We detected some errors while running some diagnostics on your entered information:

- No mysql extension found. Please check your webserver installation.

This is at the top of the Serendipity installation screen. It's doesn't save my information, and won't continue.

Any ideas?

Aaron

Hi!

Yes, you need to install the PHP mysql extension in order to use MySQL on your PHP webserver :)

Garvin

I had the same problem installing the latest drop on a RH 9 Linux system.

I had to install the php-mysql package, and now I'm to the point where I need to create the serendipity user in MySql
