Hello,
how can I ping for example blogg.de to let them know that there is a new entry whenever I make one.

Hi,
You just enable the "Announce entries (via XML-RPC ping)" event plugin, and it will let you ping multiple weblog sites when you create a new entry.

what if...
The ping didn't work because of a network problem or whatever? Can I repeat this? I didn't find a solution for this so far...

You can repeat the ping if you set your entry to 'DRAFT', save, and then to 'PUBLISH', save, again.

Since several weeks (or months) I receive the same error for pinging Blogg.de. Do they still work correctly?

No, they do not work any more. Blogg.de has changed their API and I think they do not take any XMLRPC pings any more.
