i was having a problem with breaks in the editor. it keeps giving me the wrong spacing and messing the blog up. so i went to turn it off. i figured i hand code the html....but when i turn it off in the config, it does not turn off. i go back to the config an it is set back to yes....

any help would be great. other than this, it is a sweet program and its very nice....

Are you using Serendipity 0.9 and turning off the WYSIWYG editor in your PERSONAL preferences? Do not turn it off in the GLOBAL configuration, that only applies for installation and the first user there.

BTW, in the WYSIWYG editor you can press Shift-Enter to produce linebreaks instead of paragraphs.
