I'm still very much a s9y newbie, so your help would be appreciated
I'm trying to work out if this site setup is possible:
Blog 1:
Only a group of editors can post.
Registered users can comment
Blog 2:
Any registered user can post and comment (a group blog). But they can only edit their own posts and comments, and not other members
So can this be done with only a single user registration (member only registers once on the site); and permissions are automatically assigned for each blog, rather than the admin having it to do it manually for each user?
The two blogs need not have a separate identity as such. In fact, I'd like the site to be seamless, with just two different areas of the site: one which is for reading/commenting, and the other for posting/commenting
thanks
simple multi-blog setup?

Re: simple multi-blog setup?
Hm, for this kind of blogs, you might be able to do that with usergroups and category read/write permissions only.
However I think it might be easier to separate the users if you really build up 2 independent blogs with different setups.
I guess you'll just have to try a little bit and play with the permissions / adduser plugins...
