turn moderate comments off...

i cant figure out how to set it up so i dont have to approve comments.. help?
There are several options that affect this.
Precedence has the setting of "Comments to this entry are moderated" which you can set via a checkbox for every entry. Edit an entry and see to what the checkbox is set.
The second option to this are the various options inside the spamblock plugin. Go to serendipity plugins, click on the title of the spamblock plugin and then look at the options there. Often there is a switch on how to treat Spam: Reject, Moderate or "None". If you set all to "none" you will not need to moderate any comments, but then also Spam will get through to your blog. If you set it to "reject" you won't get much Spam, but comments that may be moderated because of other reasons (comments to older entries for example) will also be deleted without you getting notice of it.
