Display recent trackbacks and/or comments on the main page?

I probably just need to keep reading, but does anyone know if it is possible to display recent trackbacks and/or comments on the main page - is there already a plugin for this? Thanks in advance for any help.

I found that recent comments can be displayed using the plugins_comments - what do I need to modify to display recent tracbacks as well? Is it just the query in serendipity_plugin_comments.php - my guess is that there is more to it...

That plugin of Serendipity 0.9 supports a config option to either only shows comments, trackbacks or both
