I am using the spam plugin and update RBLs weekly. Can anyone tell me how I can do better and stop this trackback spam?
Trackback Spam
Trackback Spam
Has anyone else been a victim of this? I'm getting close to 20 of these about every six hours. I have been deleting them via s9y administration but I'm thinking that this is silly...there should be a way to set things up to NOT have trackback spam.

The only way is to auto-moderate all Trackbacks.
There is no chance to block Trackback Spam, it's a flaw in the system of how Trackbacks work.
You can try to use word-filtering, but Spammers adapt to new words every day. So you have to bite dust and auto-moderate all trackback and go through it.
You might want to use the blogg.de URL blacklist, which helps a bit...
Sadly this is a problem of all blog systems, and none has a solution that really works. IT would require a network of filtering hosts like spamassasin, which can share common filter rules through installations. But this requires a working infrastructure.

blacklist urls?
Are there any other blacklist urls that I can use in conjunction with blogg.de? I saw that bl.spamcop.net was listed...are there others and is this the correct url?
