Time Zone

Post by ragamuffin »

Is there a way to change the time zone for Serendipity?

It posts on EDT instead of my needed PDT.

Thanks.

Just to let you know: I have just finished implementing Timezone support into the current 0.8 CVS development version! You can now specify an offset to add/subtract from all date-relevant input.

Thank you!

BTW - I've looked a few times at sending you something from your wishlist - but can't figure out how, since I am in the U.S. You might think about setting up an alternative U.S. based wish list for people like me - if it can even be done.

Great :)

About my wishlist - that's a bit of a problem. Some of my items are not available outside german Amazon, and because of several customs/shipping issues it's not really better for me to create an english wishlist.

I already mailed the Amazon Guys to please provide an english backend, but they are not responding. It is much preferable for people in the US to buy via credit card in german Amazon, because then they only pay national shipping costs, and it won't get caught in some duty/customs office.

There's a rough outline of what the german stuff means at http://www.pc4p.net/amazon-howto.html - if you want to go through the hassle - I know at least one nice guy (Ryan Hoover) succeeded in doing so, lol :-)

Anyways: Thanks for considering that! :-)
