Why is it that when I try to unzip serendipity, several of the files have the same filenames?

Which files am I supposed to use, or am I supposed to rename them?

what archive did you download? usually there are no files with the same name within the same folder.

I downloaded the most recent release (October 28th, I believe). This happened the last time I tried to install serendipity, as well. I'm using winzip.

The only case where this could happen are files that have the same name in different cases (mixed uppercase/lowercase) which are different files on unix systems, but not on windows machines.

I don't know of any in the s9y directory, though. Which file exactly did you use?

Please use a better extreacting tool like 7-Zip or Winace, that might help.
