non-public category?

Hi,

as far as I figured out, yet, I can make entries readable to the public or just to my co-authors.

Is this possible for a category, too? (For "internal" purposes)

I need to put in at least one help file for the non-internet savvy authors - actually all of them :-(

Any ideas?

Why don't you just password-protect it? ;)

You can make per-category read/write visibility assignments using Serendipity >= 0.9-beta2. :-)

After mulling over "how to do this" for a while, I simply ask you: How? :?

I would do this, if I already was a bit more familiar with this software. If something doesn't work, I don't know how to fix it.

with the "backup interface plugin" I managed to backup the database tables, but where is the html-backup saved?

For download is 0.9-beta3 right now. Is it stable?

Just install the "extended categories"-Plugin. S9Y 0.9beta3 is pretty stable, and it looks as if the last bugs will be fixed soon.

Serendipity 0.9 final will be released tomorrow, there are no bugs left open (That were reported/known to us) :)

Hannelore, about the backup plugin you might want to ask dma147 - usually the html backup is stored in your upload directory, I think...
