[won't fix] Quicksearch and new Custom Fields

Hi all,

Love the new custom fields option in 0.9-beta3 - works a treat. The only wrinkle I have found so far is that the contents of these custom fields is not searched as part of the quicksearch.

Is this something which could be easily fixed?

Sadly not, this issue cannot be easily solved as the search query would need additional fulltext indices, and would in the end perform very badly if those fields were searched...

Thats ok - at least knowing this, can plan a balance between standard entry form fields and stuff which must be searchable.
