How do I re-order catagories

I would like to rearrange my catagories but it seems they are alphabetical only? I thought I caught somewhere I could change this manually but it has been a little while since I worked on the site.

Categories can only be sorted by creation or alphabetically or by ID; a manual sorting is not implemented. If you want to manually sort the categories, you sadly have to resort to a HTML nugget with HTML code...

thanks.. how do I go about changing this? Ordering by creation is fine..

You could go to configure the categories plugin in the s9y admin plugin panel, and there you should see ordering options. But I think those have only been added to Serendipity 0.9 versions, IIRC.
