This is the output for fetching event plugins

Trying to open URL package_event.xml...
Fetched 134978 bytes from already existing file on your server. Saving file as templates_c/package_event.xml...

If i try to fetch sidebar plugins all works perfectly.

Which serendipity version are you using?

If you use 0.8.5, you might hit a memory limit of your server, as the plugin listing exceeds 8MB, which is the default. Serendipity 0.9 fixes this problem.

To make it fast i have changed php.ini.

I have not yet tryed the 0.9.0 i must try it.
The plug-ins must be reinstalled? Or is possible to make an upgrade?

Yes, upgrading to 0.9 is easy and can be done just like any other installation. Read blog.s9y.org for details of the beta2 release.
