Hi all,

I have a situtation where I want to provide users the ability to come to my site and create their own blogs. Can an installation of serendipity support this.

Thanks
E

Take a look at docs/INSTALL_SHARED. That's the only way i know to use more then one blog. I do it on my local machine and it works fine.

Anyone can write a plugin, but i see security problems. Or what do you think, Garvin?

That's right, only shared mode is available. Hosters like serendipia or supersized need to create their own scripts to create blogs for people.

This is not supported by a default serendipity installation, because it has several server-relavant issues that can hardly be abstracted. And as s9y does not support true multi-blogs, this is not possible in a different way.
