Hello!

It's the first time, I try to do something with php. So I'm a real beginner...

My problem:
I've unzipped, uploaded an installed Serendipity 0.8.5 and all had worked.
After Installation I clicked on the Button which appeared (to the Admin-Area or something), but there came an Error.
The page cannot be found.

Now, I've no idea what to do.
I've tried some other things to access, but nothing worked.

It would be nice, if I get help here.

My guess is that you configured your Serendipity Installation to use "Apache Errorhandling" for the option "URL Rewriting", but your host does not support that.

Go and enter the admin panel (use http://yourblog/serendipity_admin.php), go to configuration and set URL Rewriting to "None".
