What is the use of "Static Page" plugin?

What are "static pages" and how do we use the "static page" plugin? It's on our site http://www.behindthelyrics.combut I don't know what it's for? Thank you! Fred

The Static Page plugin is a plugin that allows you to write some kind of special entries.
Those entries are then not shown on the usual flow of your entries, but stand for themselves. Thus the terminology "Static page", as it's like a .html page you have in your blog. The only difference is that the whole Blog layout is available with all plugins and in your usual style, and the .html file is not on your server, but in the database.
In your admin panel you can click on the "Static Pages" menu item and there you can add staticpages via the Edit Button and the dropdown.
Sadly it is not well documented at this point, but much gets clear when you just click around a bit.
