custom navigation bar

Hi I would like to add a custom navigation bar in the default template.
I would like to add it just below the title image.

which file should i modify and where?

Edit the "index.tpl" Template file; if your template doesn't have it, copy it from templates/default/index.tpl.

Place your menu after the #serendipity_banner element.
