removing plugins, beginner

Post by viktor »

Hello everyone,

I am new to serendipity and blogs in general.

Looking in the index.tpl file I found that it was easy to remove entire sections of the page, say the left or the right bar. But I could not see an easy way to remove the calendar plugin only.

What should I do that respect ?

hi...

enter your administration interface and click on "Configure Plugins".
There you'll find two lists. The first and above one is the list of the sidebar-plugins, so this is the list you want to modify.
Simply delete, reorder or move from one side to the other side, as many sidebar plugins as you want.

The second and below list is the list for all event-plugins, which are plugins which doesn't appear in the sidebar.
