upgrade from 0.8-beta6 to 8.5 ?

Is there some sort of "rules of engagment" for the upgrade process?
Some sort of howto or "watch out for" type doco?

The same also applies for upgrading from 0.8 to 0.9, it's basically always the same procedure: Download, Backup, extract to existing directory, check proper file permissions for .htaccess and serendipity_config_local.inc.php, run the admin interface to upgrade, done.
