Is there a way to export my serendiptiy blog to a flatfile? I can export it all to RSS i realize, but then how could I convert that HTML?

I run a technical webiste with how to's and such and would like to have a CD based version of the years articles that I could distribute so readers could have offline access to the articles.

Any ideas, or perhaps a plugin or 3rd party application that can do it?

How about using the blogpdf Plugin to create a PDF of your entries?

You could also turn the XML-RSS file into HTML by using a XSLT transformation file; but that's a bit advanced.

I have tried the blog-pdf conversion but I have a lot of images. I wouldn't mind paying for a 3rd party app, but Google has come up empty.

That's right, sadly PDF doesn'T easily support embedding images specified in HTML syntax.

So you will need to use a XSLT style. Go and read your Atom 0.3 link, this one contains a XSLT markup transformation which you can use to dump all your entries.

all u need is an offline access to ur site. like an archive. with the exact look and feel, even clikable links etc.

u need offline explorer. It will rip ur site and make an exact duplicate of it, even link ur pages together and archive it for delivery on a cd. it works fine with dynamic pages. I ripped a phpbb forum ones and it works like a charm. i love its filtering capabilities which allowed me to just rip a particular subforum rather than the whole forum.
